A PALESTINIAN SUMMER 'VACATION'

As Abbas sits in the luxury of a fine air conditioned hotel in Sharm with his buddy/fellow collaborator Olmert, just what are scores of West Bank youngsters doing?Are they in summer camp now that school is out for the summer?
Are they doing special extra activities like horseback riding or taking swimming lessons?
Are they packing their bags to go off on a trip with their parents?
NO, NO and NO!
If you look around the outlying areas of Jerusalem... these are the scenes you will see...
Young boys standing at major intersections (on the road itself) peddling boxes of tissues, cheap ball point pens, Cracker Jack Box type toys. Just about anything they get get their hands on to sell to passing motorists.
For pocket money? They wish!
For money to put food on the family's table is more like it.
Try throwing out your rubbish without hitting a small Palestinian child that is inside the collection bin searching for scraps of food or articles that might be able to be sold somewhere.
Sounds like fun summer activities, right? Maybe to Abbas! It's folks like him that have reduced a nation of people to a nation of scroungers and beggars. He has literally robbed an entire generation of their youth. Those that were fortunate enough not to be gunned down by Israeli soldiers during the school year have lived to spend their youth in these horrible conditions.
The above is just small part of what the USA and Israel are supporting by backing Abbas. They have literally condemned an entire nation to death, starting with its youth. Think of those kids tonight America when you get into bed... think of the wonderful things your tax dollars are doing.

Appealing to the ChristianAmerica-JewishIsrael conscience, in the main, is a waste of time.
But if you threatened to bring Wall Street down if the Palestinian issue wasn't resolved...now THAT would get some real attention!

The Palestinians under Arab occupation lived under misreble conditions and there were virtually no protests against the 20 year occupation.
The Palestinians under Israeli occupation in just a few years their economy flourished and there was virtually no unemployment. The more violent and irrational the palestinians actions were the worse off they were.
Why were the Palestinians willing to live under arab occupation in misrebale conditions and unwilling to live under Israeli occupation in excellent conditions?
As for hamas being elected in a democratic election, the nazis came to power the same way.

As to your questions.... no one ever said the Palestinians were happy under any foreign rule, their struggle for freedom has come to light mainly due to the Lobby and its supporters waging their campaigns AGAINST them.

I do not know, it just seems different then your usual genre.
Nothing different there.... I always try to expose the crimes committed against Palestinians by the zionists, now that Abbas has joined forces with them officially I will expose his crimes as well.

@ Daniel - Isn't that just as closed-minded of you as the general American view of the Middle East? I don't think that appealing to your average American is a waste of time. The American government is holding activists back too, you know. Our voices are stifled as well.
