TORTURE IN ISRAEL~~ PRISONERS USED AS HUMAN ASHTRAYS

Israel is now using methods of torture that makes the Dark Ages look civilised. In accordance with a High Court's approval of torture against Palestinians, the practice continues.

One of the latest victims was fortunate enough to have his suffering get the attention of two local human rights groups; Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) and The Public Committee against Torture in Israel. They petitioned the Tel Aviv Administrative Court on Wednesday, demanding an urgent court order allowing their physician to visit a minor Palestinian detainee at the Sharon Prison. The young man claimed he was tortured during his stay in the prison, and that cigarettes were put out on his body.

Ynet, an Israeli press agency took interest in the teens case and following their own investigation a doctor from one of the groups was allowed to visit the boy.
